We are so excited that you are joining Cullman City Schools! Please read below to learn all about our online registration process.
Before You Begin
To complete the online registration, you will need to send/upload several documents. Enrollment cannot be processed until all required documents are submitted and approved by the school.
Documents Required for Registration (to be sent to registrar and/or uploaded during online registration)
- Photo ID of enrolling parent/guardian
- Withdrawal and proof of non-expulsion from previous school if applicable
- Unofficial transcript/Report Card if applicable
- Completed parental permission for release of records if applicable
- Provide 2 proofs of residency (see list below)
- Original Health Department Immunization record (Blue Card)
- Original Birth Certificate (preferred-not required)
- Copy of original Social Security Card or number issued by the school (preferred-not required)
- Provided (as needed) guardianship papers

Please contact the registrar at the school your student plans to attend to receive any preliminary paperwork that must be completed. Once you complete the preliminary paperwork, you will receive a Snapcode. Click on the following link to enter your Snapcode and begin the registration process.

Current Student Enrollment K-12
Each year, families of currently enrolled students must complete Returning Student Registration. You will receive an email in the spring with instructions and a reminder to complete this process. Once you have received this information, you may use the links below to register your child.
This yearly registration process is critical. You will have the opportunity to update all student information including the student's address and emergency contacts.
The enrollment of students is subject to Cullman City School System Board Policy V1(v) regarding residency which provides that parents of children enrolled in the Cullman City School System have a continuing duty to inform the school system if they move out of the City of Cullman. If parents inform the school system within 15 days of moving and pay the pro-rated out-of-district fees for their children, they will be allowed to continue as students in the system. If the school system is not informed of the move within 15 days then the child is subject to withdrawal from the system.
If you are in a grade level that promotes to a new school, you will be required to upload two proofs of residency:

- Current rental or lease agreement
- Mortgage statement

For Families Residing Outside the Cullman City School District
New families wishing to become Bearcats should contact the applicable school (K-2- Cullman City Primary, 3-6- East or West Elementary School, 7 & 8- Cullman Middle School, 9-12- CHS) to check availability of out-of-district seats.
- Non-resident enrollment is based on grade-level and program capacity. Availability is based on space in the applicable grade-levels (3-6 could be at East or West depending on availability in the grade-level).
- Tuition is $1,000.00 per student. Families with 5 or more children enrolled in the Cullman City School System will be capped at $5,0000.00 per year.
- Residency verifications will be conducted periodically.
- It is imperative that address changes and any contact changes are submitted to the school as soon as possible.
- Non-resident students may be un-enrolled at the end of grading periods due to attendance/truancy, academic progress, discipline, or falsifying residency information.
- Once approved for enrollment, payments will be accepted beginning May 1, 2026
- Payment is due in FULL by 3:00 pm on June 30th, 2026 to receive a 10% discount (single $900.00, household sibling 1 $900.00, etc)
- Payment deadline is 4:00 PM July 31, 2026
- Failure to pay by this date may result in your child(ren) being automatically withdrawn from Cullman City Schools. The Board Policy governing non-resident fees dictates that the student(s) will be withdrawn from school for failing to pay the required fee by the specific dates noted.
- If by special circumstance, approved by the Superintendent, a student is allowed to stay enrolled without full payment being made by July31, the fee will increase for each student by increments of $100 on the first day of each month thereafter.
- All payments made AFTER July 31st must be made in person at the Central Office with a bank certified cashier check or money order.

- No refund will be issued unless proper documentation is provided that reflects the student's residence has changed to inside the city limits of Cullman, AL. This refund will be issued on a prorated basis.
